(HUGUENOT, N.Y.) – The Town of Deerpark Recreation Committee is sponsoring “Deerpark Safety Day” at Fireman’s Memorial Park in Sparrowbush, NY on Sunday, May 16 starting at 2pm. Exhibits will be on display from the Town of Deerpark Police, Fire Companies and Emergency Medical Services.
“The Committee is looking forward to sponsoring this event to foster a healthy relationship between the members of the community and those sworn to serve them” says Chairman Daniel Morse.
Bicycle safety and fire safety will be the cornerstones of the event, with more exhibits being added daily. Morse adds, “We hope this event is more successful than the Easter Egg Hunt. Safety is much more important than Easter Eggs.”
