RESOLUTION #42 OF 2010
SUSPENSION OF LONGEVITY PAY IN PERSONNEL POLICY FOR 2011
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2005, the Deerpark Town Board established a Personnel Policy for all
employees of the town that are not under a contract; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Deerpark is currently facing financial difficulties as are many municipalities and
must take actions to curb spending; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Deerpark, Orange County, New York,
enacts the following changes to the Personnel Policy that was established by Resolution #8 of 2005
To Suspend Article 4, Section 1.3 (Longevity Benefit), for Fiscal Year 2011
Upon passage, the previsions of this resolution shall take effect immediately.
