I, KARL A. BRABENEC, SUPERVISOR, of the TOWN OF DEERPARK, pursuant to Article 2-B, Section 24 of the New York State Executive Law, hereby certify as follows:
There exists in the Town of Deerpark SEVERE FLOODING INCIDENTS THROUGHOUT THE TOWN.
Therefore, as Supervisor of the Town of Deerpark, I declare that a local State of Emergency will be in effect as of
Thursday, September 8, 2011, 10:00 am until further notice.

Pursuant to this STATE OF EMERGENCY, I hereby order the following:
1. The presence of unauthorized persons in unauthorized areas are prohibited.
2. The ingress and egress of unauthorized vehicles is prohibited (All non emergency vehicles should not be on the road).
3. The Deerpark Emergency Operations Center is activated and can be reached at 845-856-3911. Deerpark Town Hall will remain open.
4. Residents are highly recommended to voluntarily evacuate low lying areas of the town
5. A Temporary Shelter has been set up for any evacuated residents at the Anna S. Kuhl Gymnasium, Route 209 in Port Jervis
6. Schools are ordered closed until further notice.
7. Orders are subject to revision upon demand.
